By downloading, installing, or using the Lingoo application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Lingoo is a real-time voice translation application that allows users to speak in one language and receive an audio translation in another language. The Service includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
Some features of the Service require you to create an account. You may register using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. By doing so, you authorise us to access your name and email address from that provider.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The free tier provides limited access to the Service at no charge, including 3 minutes of translation per day and access to English and French only. Free tier limits may change with notice.
Paid subscriptions (Explorer and Pro) are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. Prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and are subject to change with notice.
Refund requests for App Store purchases must be made through Apple. Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be made through Google. We cannot process refunds directly for app store purchases.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

The Lingoo application, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Avelon Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.
Your conversation transcripts and any content you create within the Service remain yours. By storing content in the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Lingoo uses AI-powered translation which may not always be accurate. Translations should not be relied upon for medical, legal, safety-critical, or other high-stakes communications. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate translations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages of third-party providers, or other circumstances beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations. In other cases, we will provide reasonable notice before termination.
On termination, your access to paid features ceases immediately. Your conversation transcripts will be deleted from our servers within 30 days of account deletion.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the applicable consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction, which these Terms do not override.
